Eligibility and Requirements:

IMPORTANT NOTE 

1. TEST DAY CAR HIRE BOOKING (FOR MANUAL / AUTOMATIC CAR): To be booked at least 7 (Seven) working days before the test date
   and making the 50% advance payment by providing the following details;
2.  THE FRONT & BACK OF PROVISIONAL DRIVING LICENCE, LATEST PROOF OF ADDRESS OF THE CANDIDATE, VALID
3. TELEPHONE NUMBER, VALID EMERGENCY CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER AND COPY OF EMAIL OF TEST BOOKING by DVSA
4. Practical Driving Test on Saturdays or BANK HOLIDAYS will be charged £20 on top of the above pricing.
5. Any Practical Driving Test before 10 am will be charged £20 on top of the above pricing.
6. An emergency driving test day car hire service offered by us is available to individuals who meet the legal requirements for taking a driving test in the UK. Including MUST be able to read a number plate from 20 metres.
7. It is the responsibility of the candidate to possess a valid UK provisional licence, as required by DVSA, before booking our services.
8. Students must arrive at the agreed meeting point on time and provide any necessary identification or documentation requested by the instructor.

Instructor’s Discretion:

1. Instructors reserve the right to refuse or discontinue the test day car hire service if they deem the student to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or if they believe the student’s behaviour poses a risk to their safety or the safety of others. The instructor may terminate a lesson early if they consider the student unprepared or unsafe to continue driving.

Booking and Payment:

1. By booking our emergency driving test service through Budget Driver Training Group, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. All booking requests must be made through our website or by email at testdaycar@budgetdrivertraining.uk
3. Payment for the Practical Test Day Car hire must be made in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed upon. 

Test Day Car Hire Cancellation / Rescheduling:

1. Cancellation or rescheduling of driving test car hire must be done at least Three (3) working days before the booked practical driving test for a full refund. 50% refund will be issued if cancellation notice is given to us Two (2) working days before the booked practical driving test. 
2. No refund will be issued if the cancellation notice is served to us within Two (2) working days before the booked practical driving test.
3. Failure to provide sufficient notice for cancellation or rescheduling may result in the forfeiture of the practical driving test car hire charges.
4. We will not be held responsible in the event of any tests being cancelled by the DVSA, car breakdown, bad weather or examiner not available. We will only refund your deposit if we are unable to assign you a driving instructor. Refunds may take up to 5 working days.

Liability and Insurance:

1. Our test day cars are fully insured. However, the candidate acknowledges that driving carries inherent risks and WE are not liable for any accidents, damages, injuries, or losses that may occur during the booked driving test.
2. We strongly advise the candidate to have personal insurance coverage to protect themselves and their belongings during the practical driving test.

Personal Data:

1. By booking our emergency driving test service, you agree to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data as outlined in our privacy policy.
